Christmas is quite possibly my favorite time of the year. The radio station in my car is permanently set to 102.5(Christmas tunes). I have ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas movies schedule in my personal calender. I am slowly accumulating as many decorations as possible. I suddenly feel the need to bake cookies all the time. Gift giving is also one of the best parts of Christmas for me, I get very excited about shopping for everyone and can hardly wait to see each person open their gift from Brian and I.

It is so nice to be in our own home this year during the holidays, we have been blessed beyond belief! It already feels like home!

Favorite

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy driving around STL and finding the most spectacular neighborhoods with the grandest of houses. We have a favorite one near Brentwood where the homes nearly take our breath away. It is like crossing over into another world when driving through the entrance. Sometimes, for fun, we call about the ones that have for sale signs and the prices of the homes also take our breath away! :) The homes we love have old elegance and are completely misproportioned in a way that looks perfect. I love looking at each one and making up my own story about the family who lives there, what the parents do for a living, how many kids they have, and what cars they drive. I'm making a new short term goal to find out if and when the houses like this have open houses. We hope that the families who live in these homes realize the beauty and history of what they live in each and everyday!
